Join your colleagues for an intensive and educationally rewarding weekend course with more than 20 hours spent with experienced MSKUS faculty from across the nation.
Attendees should be able to provide improved patient care through an increased ability to:
Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of practical anatomy of the upper and lower extremity joints
Interpret ultrasound images of these joints and recognize common pathological conditions
Identify ways to best utilize Doppler imaging in the office setting
Recount sonographic appearance of crystalline athropathies, rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthropathies (psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, enthesitis)
Demonstrate sonographically guided interventions into joints and tendons
Rheumatologists, Rheumatology Fellows, and ARNPs/PAs interested in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. This intermediate-level course does require some experience with scanning. The course will also assist applicants in fulfilling some of the eligibility requirements for the musculoskeletal ultrasound certification in rheumatology.
